Styleo

This song is taken from the acclaimed 2003 album “Man in the Air” by vocalist Kurt Elling and is one of my favourites in the mainstream jazz scene.
In his arrangement of the great saxophonist’s piece, Elling has taken the solo as recorded on Coltrane’s influencial album “A Love Supreme” and has given it lyrics. His artistic ingenuity and technical prowess continues to impress me each time I listen to this track.
