Super Tower in London, see you in 2016!

Popularchitecture  is planning to build a 1524 meter high tower in London. 100,000 people will be housed in this huge cigar, with  parks, public squares, schools, markets and hospitals. This will be like a village in the city of London.

Burning Man

In the open desert space took place the construction and destruction of Arne Quince’s wooden sculpture. The building took 25 people and 3 weeks long to construct. In the final stages it measured at  60mx30mx15m in size.

Singing Tree

Constructed by architects Mike Tonkin and Anna Liu, The Singing, Ringing Tree stands tall on land previously surfaced by radio towers. The intellectual intent is to construct pieces that evolve from what used to erect on the land. The stacked galvanoized steel pipes create different notes from wind pressures that pass through the tubes. The sculpture sings songs at blustery Penines in England.

Lotus House, Japan - The Checkerboard House

Lotus House is a 5,737-square-foot weekend home located in west of Tokyo, Japan. Architect Kengo Kuma decided to use travertine (imported from Italy) as the choice of material. Kengo took inspiration from the Japanese tendency to blur boundaries between inside and out, and turned it into the “architecture of holes”.
